The International Students Center handles applications, admission, enrolment and general assistance for international students. If you’re unsure who to ask about a document, a signature, a deadline or a stamp — ask here first. They deal with these questions every day, in English.

When to come here
- Enrolment and admission paperwork
- Certificate of enrolment — you need it for your residence permit (see the Visas guide)
- Confirmation letters for banks, landlords or embassies
- Dormitory accommodation — this is the office that helps international students with it. Go here, not to the dormitory (how it works)
- Any “who do I even ask about this?” moment in your first weeks
Go in your first week, even if nothing is wrong. Introduce yourself, ask for the current checklist of what you must do and by when. Ten minutes there saves a lot of stress later.
Good to know
- Office hours follow the university working day — go in the morning if you can, and avoid the first days of term when queues are longest.
- Bring your passport and admission documents to any appointment.
- Email works well for simple questions; complicated cases go faster in person.
