What it is
AMSB is the national Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria, and the Pleven branch is its local chapter. It’s more academic and professional than social: medical education projects, public-health campaigns, conferences, volunteering, and international student exchanges.
International students take part in its English-language activities.

The Pleven branch is tagged as @amsbpleven in AIMS posts, so the quickest route to a current contact is through AIMS on Instagram — student committees change every year, and AIMS will know who’s running it now.
Why bother
Exchanges and conferences are the part of student life that ends up on your CV. If you’re thinking about where you want to practise after graduating, this is the association that opens those doors — and it’s a different crowd from the people you’ll meet at a party.
