Why students go
The Roman Catholic church in Pleven — Our Lady of Fatima — and the place to go if you’re Catholic rather than Orthodox. Students from Italy, Poland, Ireland, the Philippines, India and Latin America often look for this first.
It’s on bul. “Hristo Botev”, about 1.6 km south of the university — a 20-minute walk or a short bus or taxi ride.
Good to know
- Google lists it as open only on Sunday, 09:00–17:00. In practice most Catholic parishes hold weekday Mass too, so phone 064 846 271 or check fatima-pleven.bg before making the trip.
- The parish has its own website with contact details — useful if you need a priest who can arrange anything in another language.
